On the night of April 26th, Housing Works Design on a Dime, hosted the opening night of this year’s event and the free public sale days were the Friday and Saturday. This year’s event was comprised of room vignettes created by more than 50 of the world’s top interior designers. It was a treasure trove of items for sale that were all donated and sold at up to 70 percent off retail pricing! All proceeds from the event benefit Housing Works’ 874 Jefferson Avenue Residence Project.
Foley & Cox used the Estelle Display Lamp by Alexa Hampton (AH3500) above.
Circa Lighting was proud to contribute again this year and to have the opportunity to work with some of our customers for such a good cause. Foley & Cox used some of our lamps in their double space which represented a Gentleman’s Living Library with neutral fabrics and rich colors. You can see more photos of Foley & Cox’s space on their Facebook Page.
The Carthage Table Lamps by Ralph Lauren (RL11094BN) in the Natural Brass finish.
Katie Lydon Interiors’ vignette was full of texture and patterns from the black and white wall paper to the various pillows and interesting accessories. The Modern Crystal Round Balustrade Table Lamp (CHA8917CG-NP) was used on the table shown below. Check out their Facebook Page for more photos.
Nick Olsen’s vignette was a colorful and eclectic gathering of items featuring rugs from his own collection and the large painting was created by Nick himself. Our Hargett Table Lamp (SP3011) in the Bronze finish can be seen on the red chest.
One of the most inspiring spaces was designed by Miles Redd who went for a black and white geo patterned wall paper and a bright blue torso for a pop of color.

Anette Table Lamps in Polished Nickel by Ralph Lauren (RL3250).
The photos of Miles Redd’s space above are from quintessence blog and they have many more photos of all the spaces so be sure to stop by for a visit!
Housing Works has a complete list of all of the Design on a Dime participating designers and photos from the opening night on their website.
So, which space is your favorite? Or do you love them all?
